My car is running just fine however the dealer after my 60000 miles service tells me that I "have to" replace the drive chain. Is this true?

Timming belt is recomended to be replaced at 60K miles they tend to break and this is a scheduled maintence to prevent you sitting on side of road.

If you cars engine is 4 cyl then it has a belt the V6 has a chain and no schedule replacement for chain.
