Last week the car started shaking and having problems at stopping at lights, I thought maybe a fuel line problem so I had the fuel injections cleaned and changed filter, now when I accelerate my engine is not catching if I gun it I hear a grinding noise. What might the cause of this problem be?

Thank you for the donation.

Where is the noise coming from? What type of grinding noise? Metallic, screeching type? Any vibrations or engine hesitation?

Can you please elaborate on

I drove the car myself sat. And when it comes to a stop the car shakes, and at taking off it does not seem like much power to acclerate. COuld this be a probable timing belt issue?

Hi mdgurlie01,

The symptoms does not relate to timing belt problems.

I would check the Automatic transmission fluid level and condition. If it is very dark, a fluid and filter replacement would be the minimum you need to do.

Other areas to check for are the spark plugs and cables.
