2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse Blown radiator?

I bought a brand new radiator and 5 days later the bottom blew out. Could this be caused by not changing my thermostat or maybe a blow head gasket? No milky oil or white exhausted.

Couldve been a crappy radiator that just let go. Usually a hose will blow before a radiator due to pressure. Performa cylinder compressioin and leakdown test and post back your results and I can tell you where to go from there to see whats what
