1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse wiring harness

I'm bought a 99 eclipse gs w a 2.0 non turbo engine it came with no engine and the main harness coming from the firewall is cut I can splice all the wires onto another plug but lots of wires and many are red I dont want to mess this up and ruin anything what do you suggest? Thanks

Do you need a wiring diagram? You'll need to start identifying what you have.

May want to get a new harness if they are available. There are a certain kind of splicing connector I would use if it comes down to splicing in wires.
