1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Valves

I baught this Eclipse for $100 from a guy who had blown the timing belt. We have repalced everything and are now down to the valves. The #4 Intake Valves are loose. My question is how do you tighten the valves down on the eclipse.

Hi jdiddy161,

Hydraulic valve lifters are used so you need not do anything except start the engine and the oil pressure would take over. It would be noisy initially but the noise would go off adfter some running time, maybe 20 minutes.

This is an inteference engine and the valve could have been damaged when the timing belt broke.
