1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse wont run in drive or reverse

My car wont run in drive or reverse and it dies in park when you turn on air con. I have to hold the gas pedal to floor to get it to start. Whats my problem could it be catalytic converter?

Hi there, this will more than likely be a problem with the engine manage met system, and the idle control system start with getting a scan done to check for any set fault codes.
