Hello
Engine is bucking, lack of power, sounds like it is missing, when you mash on the gas pedal it seems like you are going no were. Had a knock sensor installed back about 4 years at the ford dealer and two days ago it started up. It is at the dealer now getting check out, and they it is the senson but not sure yet. Could it be something eles? What do you do when the dealer cant figure it out? You think they would be the only ones to know, so I guess when it cant be fixed you junk it and buy another one.

Sorry I dont understand what your question?
Is it why do I think its the MAF sensor or the fuel pump
And if so the symptoms that you described is more likely to be the MAF or fuel pump
test is needed to verify
