Our Villager van has 190K on it and we are experiencing the following issue that seems to be getting slowly worse over the past 4 months. If stopped and going to accelerate it hesistates almost like a mild sputtering. Also notcied turning into a side rd. for example and hitting the brakes and turning off then hitting the gas again it does the same thing. Also gas mileage is terrible.
When we purchased van (it had 120K on it) we were told it had platnium plugs. We have replaced timing belt/chain and water pump, air filter, pcv. Will a simple spark plug and wire replacement resolve this? From what I am reading from other posts - is it a fuel pump getting tired?
Thanks for your assistance in advance
