1995 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the car idles real rough and low if sitting at idle for just a little bit will kill the car but starts right back up. Im thinkin there is a vaccuum leak or timing problem, please let me know what you think

Lets try cleaning out the idle air contrrol valve and see what happens

I had the same problem!

My timing belt jump a tooth or two. By the time I found it was the belt it had jumped enough teeth till the car wouldn't start anymore. I also had a check engine come on before the belt went for the IAC. Cleaned the IAC and it's still shaking. Need to get another IAC now as well!
