Oil light reset?

The message to change the engine oil soon is repeatedly showing at startup. While it is nearing the normal 7500 mile service interval, this service has already been preformed.
I would take it back to them to reset (as I've done before with my previous car) but it is difficult to get there while they are open. Just thought knowing the steps would make it easier.

2008 SABLE
1. To reset the oil monitoring system, press SETUP control to enter SYSTEM CHECK, then press SETUP control again to display "OIL LIE = XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW". 2. Press and hold RESET control for 2 seconds and release. Oil life is set to 100% and "OIL LIFE SET TO 100%" is displayed. 3. While "OIL LIFE SET TO 100%" is displayed, if a lower oil life is desired, press and release the RESET control to reduce the value. Each press of the RESET control reduces the value by 10 percent.
