I have a 2004 Mercury Sable V6 that had the check engine light come on and start sputtering and losing power. I took it to a shop and they kept it for a week and said it had an engine misfire. They ended up changing the fuel filter and telling me that on of the spark plugs was misgapped. I payed the bill and on the way home the same issues occurred except the engine light is not on (yet). Any ideas??
