2004 Mercury Sable charging system light coming on

2004 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the charging system light keeps coming on. We have taken it to the auto parts store and had a diagnostic ran two times and it shows nothing. We have recently put on a remanufactured alternator and it was fine for a couple of months then the charging light started coming occasinaly. Now it is staying on. We replaced the battery yesterday with no change. Any ideas?

Check wires and connections for corrosion, including to the starter, also the alternator, may have gone bad in that short period, (voltage regulator)
