My car makes a thumping noise while driving it and it gets worse when i hit the brakes. When i start it up it acts like it wants to cut off and it will start sputtering back and forth . One morning it did cut off, but it started right back up. My heater is not connected and their is a leak on the passenger side on the floor. Occasionally i smell a slight burning smell. Please help me I just purchased this car and want to take the necessary steps to correct these problems befor they cause more damage. Thanks
