1998 Mercury Sable Is this likely my battery?

All was fine (including all winter), until suddenly the car would not start (the clicking sound.) However, the lights, horn, etc. Were working.

Next day: Everything was totally dead.

Is this likely the battery?

Hi there,

Start with having the battery load tested and get the alternator charge rate checked, start here.

Taking out 2 birds at one time get both the battery and alternator load tested.
