THE O.D. LIGHT FLASKES ON/OFF WHILE DRIVING. I RAISED THE CAR ANDTHE PAN HAS A DENT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE AT THE FRONT OF THE TRANSMISSION. I REMOVED PAN THE DENT IN THE PAN IS TOUCHING A ROUND CYL. TYPE CAP. IM NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS FOR. I HAVENT REMOVED LINE AND CAP TO SEE WHAT IT IS. COULD THIS CAUSE OD LIGHT TO FLASH AND WHAT OTHER ISSUES MIGHT CAUSE LIGHT TO FLASH.

It is possible. The light is flashing to let you know the computer sees a problem with the trans or the trans controller. Your best bet would be to have the computer scanned for codes to see why the light is being flashed. There are far too many things it could be to keep on guessing
