58.000 miles, car does not use oil.

Trnsmission seems free - car coasts freely.

We drive slowly - 55 - 60 mph. Mileage is about 17mpg, highway.

Does not miss.

When did you last have a tune done? It just might need a good tune up and a run on an oscilloscope, this will check the ignition system for potential faults that will cause your problem, get the simple things done first, then if there still is a concern we can look a little deeper.
