1993 Other Mercury Models Starter

All the lights, radio and air/heat will turn on, but it will only click when trying to turn it over. I have tested the battery and it is good. I took it to the shop this week and they said it was only a bad connection from the wires to the battery. It started fine all week then it wouldn't start again today. Any ideas what the could be?

Did you replace the faulty cables? If not then doing so should solve the problem if the shop diagnosed it as having bad cables. You can have starter tested at most part stores for free of charge as well.
