1999 Mercury Mystique Braking

When I apply the brakes at moderate to high speed my car shudders, though the brakes work fine.

Drive the car and if when you step on the brake the front seems to shake or the pedal bounces, it the front rotors, if the bouncing is felt more in the seat it is the rear brakes, also check the tires for a shifted belt.
