2000 Mercury Mountaineer runs ruff and falters and dies

My mountianeer has ben runing o.K but after 30 min of driving it dies and dosen't like to be restarted untill it has time to cool down. Can it be my fuel filter or an O2 sensor

I am having same issue but after an hour of driving. I changed fuel pump and filter and nothing. I have been told its probably my IAT sensor

Mine was the egr sensor causing the issue
