when I start engine the windshield wipers come on frantically. And won't shut off till I turn of engine and pull fuse. So it wipers won't come on. It gonna rain tomorrow in ca. And I need my wipers to work. Some people have said its a switch that is very expensive.

The switch grounds the wiper motor out to make it work. Sometimes the ground inside the wiper mootor breaks and causes this. Take it to a pro have him/her check it out.
