1993 Mercury Marquis oil filter housing

1993 Mercury Marquis V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Does a 1993 Mercury Marquis have an oil filter housing gasket? This one is leaking around the filter housing I am not sure how to stop it. Need advice also will a carbon cleaner additive clean out the egr enough to make the check engine light go out?

Hi:
replace the oil filter to see if that fixes the oil leak. As far as the additive, is this something you add to the oil or fuel? If so, it won't help the EGR.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks for your reply. I had to have the oil filter housing gasket replaced. Also will an intake vacuum line cleaner like seafoam or similar product clear the egr passage?
