had egr and map sensors replaced due to check engine light also new battery. car runs alittle rough but in mornings hard to start and when started and when you go to restart after it warms up no problems

Hi, check the fuel pressure regulator, also check the ECM engine temp sensor, its sound like it could be bad.

Yes, both would throw the engine light. If your engine light is on then you should run a diagnostic scan and get the codes. This will make it much easier to diagnose the situation. Most auto part stores such as AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts will run a test for free if you do not have a scanner.

i ran the codes and the light is now off but still have hard time starting when it rains or snows out

i had the codes before but they were for the low voltage on egr valve sensor and maf sensor
