1995 Other Mercedes Benz Models noise when the clutch peda

Recently in the last week I have noticed a "whining" noise when I change gear I only need touch the clutch pedal and the noise starts and gets louder When gear is engaged the noise stops I would like any advice because the Merc 410 d will be very difficult to work at if it is to be done at home.

Never done a Merc dunno how easy it is, but just dropping a manual or an automatic tranny is a tough job. You need a new clutch assembly

It seems donations are the must rather than the unmust I just feel unable to pay for anything at the moment since the van is about to break down and I haven't the wedge to get it repaired by a mechanic I need to draw on all sources If this were the only problem then I could perhaps see my way to a gift but since the tax man doens't perceive his cut this year he may even come and put his paws on the van See where I am at sorry for any inconvenience perhaps when the blue moon shines Salud Peter J Finn
