ON MY 420SEL WHEN I SHIFT MY TRANSMISSION INTO DRIVE YOU CAN FEEL IT GO IN TO GEAR BUT IT WILL NOT PULL UNLESS I PRESS THE ACCELERATOR ALMOST TO THE FLOOR WHEN SHIFTED INTO REVERSE IT GOES IN TO GEAR AND PULLS PERFECTLY FINE----WHAT DO I NEED TO LOOK FOR OR DO I SIMPLY NEED ANOTHER TRANSMISSION

If the transmission has been taken out and replaced
the crank and fly wheel have alignment points
that need to be in alignment or it will cause confusion
with the computer. If it has not been taken out and
replaced it may be a good idea to replace it with
another or have it rebuilt. I have had both problems
and what I am saying was true to fit each ocassion.
