Transmission problem
1984 Mercedes Benz 300d Two Wheel Drive 209, 00 miles

I have to go around 70, for it to shift into 4th, the car sat for awhile, and thats when iit started to act up, I have changed the filter and oil, some times it wont shift at all.

That particular transmission shifts on the vacuum, make sure your vacuum pump is good, it could also be a takedown linkage, located on top of the vale cover, it's that unit full of vacuum lines, check all your life, make sure they are good.
