Will give it a try. I have a carb kit in my garage for just such an occasion. Thanks! Dave

Hi and thanks again.
I replaced the accelerator pump, and still have the same problem.
Will try your timing suggestion.
It's strange; it occurs 3-4 miles after startup, and only when accelerating. When "cold", the truck runs and accelerates fine, but warms up then nearly dies upon acceleration, especially above 40 mph. Feathering the accelerator will allow me to limp back home, but any normal acceleration causes the engine to stumble and/or die.
I'm very grateful for your help, any other suggestions would be appreciated as well! Thanks again, Dave
