My engine light recently went on and I had it checked. Computer said #5 cylinder was misfiring. The oil was change, transmission fluid changed and engine light was turned off. That was two weeks ago. Engine light went on today and I kept losing power. The car jerked forward and back a few times. What do you think it could be? I am taking it to the shop in 3 days but am very curious as to what it could be. My last tune-up was at the dealer ship in July. 6 months ago. :

Well if you have a cyl #5 misfire, well #5 cyl is probably misfiring. When you had your tune-up done, were the plugs AND the ignition wires changed. Alof of times when the plugs only are changed, you end up with plugs that crack early into there life.

I would have the plugs checked for cracking and let us know.
