2002 Mazda Miata convertible roof clamps

Is there a way to adjust the clamp that holds the convertible roof to the top of the front windshield? My right clamp wlii close but not lock tight. Do I need a new mechanism? Are they available?

Remove the clamp from roof and drill a small hole opposite the locking mechanism. Drill it deep enough to insert a small self-tapping screw. The hole has to be deep enough so the screw head clears the locking mechanism. Once it does, however, it will lock the clamp down tightly and your problem resolved.
