My vehicle has been slipping lately. Today while driving on interstate, it went from 70 mph decreasing to nothing even though my foot was on the gas pedal. It's now on the side of interstate awaiting a tow. My husband said it seems as though the timing has slipped. Is the cost to repair expensive?

A problem with a timing chain/belt is considered a major repair-The cost could range from $70.00-$130.00 per hr and varies with location
