I would like to know where the alternator is in my car and how to change it

WARNING: When the battery cables are connected, touching the vehicle body with generator terminal B will generate sparks. This can cause personal injury, fire, and damage to the electrical components. Always disconnect the battery before performing the following operation.

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.Remove the transverse member.
3.Remove the front pipe.
4.Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5.Install in the reverse order of removal.
6.Verify the drive belt deflection/tension.

If you look at the diagram I gave you it's #5 aka the Generator.

Ok I see that but I am not very good with cars and wanted to know if the actual alternator was on the top of the actual car or on the bottom of it. As in is it set on top of everything or do I gotta put my car up on a ramp and get to it on the bottom?
