What happens if you red line the car? It seems to be running fine and normal, but there is an odor

Hi there, Red lining or max engine revs, will if done often over stress the engine, if you red line a cold engine you run the chance of piston & bearing damage, as for the odor, check for any coolant leaks onto the exhaust. Star there.
