Mass Air Flow Sensor

My husband is constantly changing the mass air flow sensor every three months. Sometimes we get an engine code and other times we don't. We are thiinking that may be it is something else.

MAF do not go bad every 3 months. I believe the wire harness needs to be checked.

Yes, the connector that plugs into the MAF should be checked for damage. Its continuity to the engine computer should be tested. The problem might even be caused by the computer.
Any vacuum leakages can cause MAF problems and so do other trouble codesif any are present.
