Lower ball joint

I separated the ball joint from the knuckle. Took off the axle nut. Dropped the sway bar down. Took off the tie rod. But cant get enough clearance yet to remove the ball joint. The lower sway bar wont go down enough. I've seen it done on the other side. They moved the knuckle and spring off to the side and removed the ball joint. What am I missing here? Thanks

Can you get a few pictures of what you are dealing with so we can see what may need to be done? Unfortunately, it is a little difficult picturing the current situation you have.

Okay, solved this problem too. Only before alternator problem and fuel pump problem DOH ! If a bigger hammer doesn't solve the problem a bigger pry bar surely will. No pictures needed.
