When I'm driving, I hear a low pitch noise coming from the front of the car. When I turn to my right into my left the noise goes away. What could be the problem?

Front wheel bearings if you turn right and it goes away it may be the left bearing

Does the GMC Jimmy have the bearings in hub assembly so I can replace them both? Would it be wise to replace both sides?

It is never wise to replace something you don't need. Just because one goes bad does not mean the other will some never go bad. And yes they are the hub and bearing together the hard part to find the right side that's bad, but if you replace both then you don't have to worry.

One last note, I jacked the car up to see if there is any play (movement) in wheels. The driver side has movement and passenger side does not. Is there supposed to be any movement?
