A couple month ago I realized my car was getting louder. As soon as I start the car, it sounds normal, until the engine actually turns on. The best sound I can say it sounds like is “vroom” and then it stays like that. While I drive it gets even louder, does not matter the speed the sound is always loud.

Good morning.

You have an exhaust leak from the exhaust system.

The best course of action is to have a shop check it for you to find the source of failure.

Once you determine the failure, let us know and we can help you with an estimate.

Okay, I got the results back today. He says my transmission oil is way lighter than it should be so he recommended a flush. He then told me the something about the exhaust pipe leaking.

Okay, the exhaust pipe leaking is the reason for the loud noise you hear.

Did he give you a bid on the repair?
