Replaced the ignition lock cylinder and key, key relearn procedure not working?

Lost transponder. I have been trying the relearn procedure the light with the car and lock has never gone off during the relearn, also the service theft deterrent system is on. Also, I've been trying the relearn procedure over and over with no success. This is the second ignition that has been installed due to losing the original key. The first time the relearn procedure worked fine.

The key needs to be programmed before installation or you will need to call a mobile locksmith to program it for you, which should cost about $200.00. Here are the instructions for the relearn to make sure it is done correctly.

The ignition lock and key are new due to all keys being lost. This is the second time they have been replaced first time the truck was stolen. There was no problem with the first one relearning procedure.

Okay you might have a BCM going out. Let's do a CAN scan to see what's going on, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.
