I have a 94 Olds Silhouette that a 67yo woman hit us at a dead stop at 55 mph, of course she was texting and never looked up. A neighbor practically have us a 93 Pontiac transport that the engine was knocking badly on. So we rebuild the olds engine new gaskets and all and had it put in the transport. Before doing so my husband inspected everything. Unfortunately we live in the brokest state, Michigan. Our roads are horrible and under the snow on a road that was new to us was completely washed out. So we hit about a quart mile of potholes at full speed. We immediately slowed to a crawl and go it out of up yo 6" deep potholes. I guess the river had washed the asphalt out. The van started clunking braking and accelerating so I checked the dog bone (yes I'm a girl but a farm girl) and the dog bone was kind of getting beat up. I took into a friend of mines shop and he put it on hoist and when he looked under for proper alignment he said oh this isn't good. He inched van up because he was scared the vans front axle and everything would drop. The bushing on drivers side is shot and the cradle is cracked all the way across. We limped it home. The place that's going to put a new cradle in wants to buy it from a junkyard for about $150 but I'd like to see if the one in the Silhouette is useable. I am handicapped and can't really afford a part I might have and this is our only mode of transportation for my caretaker to take me to neurosurgeon and therapy. Can you help me with a diagram to show me where cradle is since the engine is already pulled. That way I can take a photo to show them and see if its useable. I live on about $600 a month so I'm just very lucky to have someone to put it in if I can use this cradle. Ps I can make a donation after the third but like I said this van has beat me to hell in fixing it this month.

The cradle holds the engine and trans up. It kindof looks like an H and there are 4 bolts that hold it in. The pic I have of the cradle isn't very good but I have arrows pointing to it and it cold likely be the same on the olds as the Pontiac.
