I have a 04 saturn ion quad co-op with 2.2L Ecotec 5sp Manuel 16" alum rims rear suicide doors. I had this same exact motor and transmission in another vehicle. For many years that i've motted out so I know the layout quite well. This motor has no identification marks or labels on it indicate whether it's an old 4 why it came from every time I get parts, they never fit bright. One form or another and have to modify the only difference on this motor is the camshaft set up is different than the 1I used to have.I looked it up online, and it comes back as being a cobalt SS. I keep getting a trouble code for camshaft. Position sensor but yet this motor does not have one on it or it's not in the location where it's supposed to be, the trouble code keeps coming back and the BD to scanner. Well, how can I locate something that's not there? But the e c u stating that it is?

Yep, I have seen this problem before but it has been a while so we will need to go over tit again, please let me know the code number so I can look it up for you. There is no camshaft sensor but this code comes up when the ignition module/coil housing assembly needs to be replaced. I would replace the spark plugs as well. Please videos in your response of the problem, so we can see what's going on.
