1998 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 104K miles

Regardless of control button pushed, hot air comes out the A/C ducts. Is this a vacuum motor failure for the heater door? If so, where is this vacuum motor located? Can a DIY guy like me get to it? Thanks, James

Have you found any solution to this problem? I have the same problem.
I have an estimate from the dealer for $700, and my local AC Shop says that this is a "common" problem?
