Engine Performance problem
2003 Lincoln LS V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 57514 miles

the car is running rough and hesitates on hills and when you give it gas. Check engine light is on and codes are P0302 cylinder 2 misfire and P0316 misfire 1st 1000 revs. Is it a spark plug issue. Just had fuel system flushed.

thanks

Check sparkplug, compression and injector for no.2 cylinder

Engine Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel
