P code p0308

I have a 96 Lincoln continental V8 with 140,000 miles on it with a p code falt of p0308, cylinder 8 misfiring, what are some causes for this problem?

A misfire on the eighth cylinder only, may be a bad plug wire, bad or dirty connection of the coil post where the wire attaches, a bad plug, injector problem. The first thing I would look at is a vacuum leak however. Spray some carb cleaner around the intake manifold and listen for an idle change.
