I bought a new oil pump but it came with a new oil pressure relief valve. My question is do you have to install new one for oil pump to work right or will it be ok?

Hi there,

It would be advisable to install the new pressure relief valve supplied, the old valve will be worn and it can leak and give lower than desired oil pressure.
