My cars ignition is connected to the alarm. I locked my door by accident which I never do because one time before just for a few hours it took forever to get in the car. Well this time when I locked it, I kept it locked all night and now when I put my key in the door lock and wait for the security light to go off the lsecurity light goes off but the car still want start. The alarm light is turning off but the car doors are not unlocking and the lock on the ignition is not releasing allowing the car to start. The car will turn on, but it want start up. What do I do

Hi stacyardoin,

Thank you for the donation.

The security light turning off means the immobilizer system is working correctly.

As the door locks are not operative, the problem would be with the anti-theft system. Did you try locking and unlocking the doors, either right or left to check if the alarm can be reset?

Since the power door locks are not working, I would suggest we start with this by checking the fuses.

Underhood
1. Dome fuse ( 10 A ).

Underdash, behind keft kick panel.

2. ECU-IG fuse ( 15 A)
3. Cigar Fuse ( 15 A)
4. Gauge Fuse ( 10 A )
5. Door fuse ( 30 A)
6. Power circuit breaker ( 30 A )
