2001 Lexus ES 300 Engine knocking

Bought this Lexus about a year ago. It has always had a engine knock when slowly accelerating between 1000-2500 rpms. If I rev it strongly the noise does not occur. It definitely feels internal and is not a ticking sound, so I ruled out lifters. What do you think?

Possibly a bearing knock due to low oil pressure, I would have the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge, post reading cold idle, hot idle and hot 1500 RPM.

Thanks. Just teh otehr day my car wont start now. So now what do you think? I have power and the battery is fine. Starter is clicking, engine just won't turn. Thanks
