I have a 2002 Land Rover,

First the check engine light is on and stays on. When my computer is reset it goes off for about 2 days and the comes back on. Second, when I am driving at about 25-30 mph I can feel a vibration in my steering wheel and in the foot pedal. I can aso hear it, like a dull vibration and the my car feel like its dragging, to get to the next gear, and then it is ok. It is also leaking water pretty bad, I have to put water in it about 2 a week to keep it from running hot on me.

HELP! I have already replaced the theromostat in it and had new heads put in.

I have limited funds and small children to transport. Please help!

The cooling system is leaking, correct? Then the cooling system needs to be pressure checked and the leak pinpointed and corrected straightaway, driving the car with a compromised cooling system is asking for trouble, you stated the heads had been off, if this issue is not corrected you might be revisiting the same thing, and I know you dont want to do that. As to the check engine light being on, what is the fault? I would be glad to give an opinion if I knew the reason the check engine light is on.
