Hi, I am looking at buying a 2002 kia sedona and from everything I can see it's in good condition. The only issue seems to be that the seat belt/air bag light won't go off. I thought I read somewhere this was a known issue and a recall was done. Is this correct? With it staying on, what does that mean?

Hi
This is a good question. What does it mean when the light stays on. Maybe nothing`. But maybe this car has been in an accident maybe this air bag will go off sometime and could seriously injure or kill someone.

This prob has to be diagnosed and repaired before it is safe to drive. Dealership

I have come to find out this is a reoccuring issue with this model and problems with the wiring to the seat belt latch on the passanger side. Way to much expense and trouble to fix.
