I have recently heard a clicking in my wheel when I make right turns. I know that there are several posts about how to repair and what the noise is but my question is more to what is the result if one were to let the "clicking" go unchecked for an extended amount of time? Do your wheels fall off? Does your car lock up? I'm very concerned because my dealership is unable to fit me in.

Dealership, smealership. There are plenty of good independent garages that can do better for you and probably at a better price. You should get the whole axle on that side replaced. Most aftermarket axles have a lifetime warranty. If the axle breaks, it will prevent power being transfered from the transmission to the wheels, and you just won't move. I n some case the braken axle can damage other components
