Key will not turn in the ignition

Worked find this morning this afternoon I went out and tried to start the car and the key won't turn at all. Cannot start car. Tried the rubber mallette, tried rocking it, turning steering wheel, nothing! I have to work tonight. Help!

This could be a couple things but if you have tried rocking the steering wheel and turn the key at the same time and that did not work, try using a little WD 40 in the cylinder and see if that will work it free.

Once we try these two things, we may need to try another key. Hopefully you have a spare. If none of this works then I suspect the ignition solenoid has failed. I attached the info below on this but hopefully one of the items above or in the link will help.
