Ignition switch replacement?

I drove to the gas station got gas and when I restarted car the radio was not working no lights or clock and no usual blinkers noise (blinkers were working I got out and checked). I did my errands starting and stopping the car for a time with no issue aside from no radio or blinker noise. Next morning I went to start car and it would not turn over check engine light would flicker with clicking noise without having key turned over then key would not release. Car would not start up with a jump. I have since gotten key out with ignition release button under steering column.

If the ignition was engaging the key not turning then the switch needs to be replaced.
