Jeeps do tend to have very long lasting transmissions. How long it lives is really dependant on the driving conditions and maintenance though. If you drive through rough terrains a lot such as gravel roads, sandy roads ect. Then its harder on the tranny. Forgetting to replace the tranny fluid / filter can also cause the transmission to weaken
